Auditions for CAST's WINTER SERIES 2025 run by Becca Duval & Marcus Fink for ages 9-18 will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

**If you have a conflict with the date, please contact us ASAP to arrange an alternate audition prior to December 4th**

This program is not a CAST class. We will be moving at a very quick pace. Not everyone who auditions may be cast. There will be a non-musical starting in March/April. More information on this will come out separately.
​
There is no fee to audition. If you are cast in "Mean Girls, Jr.", there is a $225.00 non-refundable participation fee. There may be a registration form to be filled out before rehearsals begin. All participants will be required to assist in providing an ad/patron for the program booklet. More specific information on this will come separately after we cast the show.
​
Rehearsals will take place at CAST children's theatre located at 113 Summit Street in Manchester.
​

The show will be held in Manchester High School's Bailey Auditorium on Thursday and Friday, February 20 & 21, 2025. Time TBD.

Casting will be announced by the end of the day on Thursday, December 5th and rehearsals are expected to begin on Tuesday, December 10th. This will be a quick turn around so we can get started ASAP.

When we announce casting, some students may be cast in other or opposite gender roles.

Play Summary:
The Plastics have deemed Broadway Junior worthy of their presence in Mean Girls JR! This "fetch" musical from book writer Tina Fey (30 Rock), lyricist Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde) and composer Jeff Richmond (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) is packed with keen wit, an undeniably catchy score, and a sincere message for everyone.
Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign with Cady going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends.

Audition Information:
Everyone will sing "Where Do You Belong" and "Fearless".

We will have everyone do some readings that night. Readings will be determined on December 4th during the audition time.
If we need any type of call back, it will be done during the audition time.
